Pennycress
Designed to celebrate the often-unsung heroes in Leeds creative industries and beyond, Pennycress is a not-for-profit print anthology of art, illustration and written work created exclusively by Northern-UK based People of Colour. I edit the zine and physically put it together, but the contributions are its driving force.
With Pennycress as the ‘flagship’ zine, I also make a few other small-run zines as a hobby, normally focusing on things that I talk about in my other work – race, fandom, mental health, approaches to creativity etc. These are a constant work in progress, but you can find the latest ones in the shop or IRL at zine fairs around Yorkshire and the North.
